When you call Cold Harbour Heating and Air Austin, the person who walks through your door isn’t a mystery. We’re a small, local crew that knows Austin’s heat, humidity, and the particular way a condenser struggles through a 105-degree afternoon in July. Every technician here is background-checked, uniformed, and trained across nine major HVAC brands, including Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard. Victor Mancini has been leading this team since 2003, and the standard has never changed: tell the truth about the price before any work starts, put the guarantee in writing, and show up when you say you will.

Our People
Victor Mancini, Owner & Lead Technician
Victor founded Cold Harbour Heating and Air Austin in 2003 and still runs service calls himself most weeks. He carries state licensing and certification on all major residential HVAC equipment, and he has a habit of pointing out small things other technicians skip, like a slightly loose wire that’ll fail in three months, not three days. Victor named the company after the old roadside shelters where travelers waited out bad weather before continuing on. He says that’s the job: get people through whatever Austin’s climate throws at them, then get out of their way. When he’s not in an attic, he’s usually rebuilding an old motorcycle or trying to keep his vegetable garden alive through August, which he admits is a losing battle most years.
Leonard T., Senior Installer
Leonard has been installing residential HVAC systems in Central Texas for over fifteen years, the last eight of them with Cold Harbour Heating and Air Austin. He specializes in full-system replacements, ductwork layout, and the kind of careful work that means a new AC unit actually cools a house evenly instead of just blowing cold air at the thermostat. Leonard is certified on Carrier and Trane equipment among others, and he’s the person homeowners in Hyde Park and Brentwood have asked for by name for years. If he tells you the install will take a day and a half, it takes a day and a half. Outside of work he coaches youth baseball and builds furniture in a garage that somehow stays cooler than most Austin living rooms.
Rosa M., Service Coordinator
Rosa is the voice on the phone when you call, including at 2 a.m. when your furnace quits during a rare Austin freeze or your AC dies on a Sunday afternoon. She’s been with the company since 2008 and knows the schedule, the neighborhoods, and enough about HVAC to tell you whether a noise is worth a service call or just a loose panel. Rosa keeps track of every written guarantee, every follow-up, and every promise made on the phone, and she’s the reason nobody falls through the cracks. She grew up in Round Rock and still thinks Austin winters are colder than people give them credit for, which she will tell you while scheduling a same-day furnace repair in January.
Daniel R., Apprentice Technician
Daniel came to Cold Harbour Heating and Air Austin two years ago with a technical school certificate and a willingness to crawl into spaces nobody else wants to touch. He works alongside Victor and Leonard on service calls and installs, learning the hands-on side of diagnosing the nine major brands we service. Daniel is EPA-certified, and he’s already earned a reputation for showing up early, carrying tools, and asking good questions. He’s a lifelong Austin resident who says his first real memory of Texas heat was the summer his childhood AC died in Leander, and their family waited four days for a repair. That wait, he says, is the reason he takes same-day calls seriously.
One Standard, Every Job
Cold Harbour Heating and Air Austin is an independently owned and operated member of the Kingswell network. That means we follow The Kingswell Way, five values we apply to every repair, every install, and every phone call: say the price before the work starts, show up in the window given, leave the house cleaner than we found it, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if the work fails. The 365-Day Done Right Promise is not a marketing line here. It’s a written guarantee issued on every repair, and if that repair fails at any point within 365 days, we return and correct it at no charge. Victor put that promise in place because he believes a repair that doesn’t last wasn’t a repair at all, just a suggestion.
The team in Austin holds to that standard because it’s the only way to run a business where people let you into their homes during the worst weeks of the year. No pressure tactics, no price changes at the door, no voicemail maze when the air goes out at midnight in Round Rock or Cedar Park or anywhere else we serve. Just a written price, a written guarantee, and a technician who treats your home like it belongs to someone they’ll see again next season.
